Services Provided

  • Individual counseling and psychotherapy for improved mood, behavior and life choices
  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples move beyond negative interaction patterns and develop secure, resilient and successful relationships
  • Family therapy to work through existing conflict, improve communication and problem solving skills
  • Family attachment counseling designed for parents of children whose development has been compromised by early life trauma and attachment relationship difficulties, whether your child is struggling with anger, anxiety, depression, friendships, grief and loss, school or traumatic life events
  • EMDR for adolescents and adults for treating complex trauma, grief and attachment challenges
  • Counseling for adolescents to enhance self-esteem, resilience, and the development of positive self-identity, as well as coping, organizational and communication skills to meet academic and social challenges
  • Parenting workshops, seminars and one-on-one coaching based Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.), a well-established parenting program created by clinical psychologist and three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Dr. Thomas Gordon. In our coaching sessions, parents learn how to transform their relationships with their children to achieve behavior change through effective communication skills rather than parenting techniques that rely on power and control that so often backfire when children reach adolescence.
  • Divorce services, including co-parenting counseling to promote communication and cooperation between parents raising children in two homes, mediation/negotiation on co-parenting schedules, plans and ground rules, and individual counseling to assist in working through emotional pain and relieve stress and anxiety before, during and following divorce

Our Approach

Every person faces challenging circumstances throughout life, but no one has to endure the pain of difficult experiences alone. We know from experience that therapy can be transformative and offers the potential for enormous growth and positive change.

We believe the therapeutic relationship is central to the change process. We focus on helping clients understand how experiences from the past affect the way they feel in the present. By working through these issues, clients can begin to experience life in a whole new way, freeing themselves up to create a more satisfying and meaningful life.
